Instructional Design Portfolio
This portfolio showcases my instructional design work, including course-based projects, community-driven edtech tools, and applied learning artifacts developed for early childhood education as part of an iterative instructional design process.
Note: EQdigitalious is also a collaborative community space where educators build and share edtech tools together. Community projects are clearly labeled to distinguish them from individual portfolio work.
I design inclusive edtech curriculum and digital learning tools for early childhood education. My work blends instructional design, sensory-based learning, and community co-creation to support emotional regulation, accessibility, and meaningful engagement for young learners.
My Role & Focus
I am an early childhood educator and instructional designer focused on creating inclusive edtech curriculum for preschool and early elementary learners. My work bridges classroom practice and digital design, using sensory-based strategies, clear learning progressions, and community collaboration to support emotional regulation, accessibility, and meaningful engagement.
I design tools that help educators confidently integrate technology while honoring developmental needs, play-based learning, and diverse learner experiences.

My EdTech Design Process
- Analysis
Identify learner needs, developmental stages, sensory considerations, and instructional goals through observation and educator input. - Design
Plan learning experiences that scaffold skills, support emotional development, and align with instructional outcomes. - Development
Create digital lessons, workbooks, and interactive activities that are accessible, engaging, and age-appropriate. - Implementation
Use materials in classroom, home, or hybrid settings, supporting educators and caregivers in delivery. - Evaluation & Reflection
Observe learner engagement, collect feedback, and refine materials to improve effectiveness and inclusivity.
Featured Projects
Preschool Transition Strategies Instructional Module
This project focuses on designing an instructional module to help early childhood educators improve preschool transitions using structured, sensory-informed strategies.
Transitions are one of the most challenging parts of the preschool day, and this module provides practical tools to support behavior, engagement, and classroom routines.
“Focus Areas”
- Classroom transitions and routines
- Emotional regulation support
- Sensory-informed strategies
- Inclusive early childhood design
The Problem
Preschool transitions often lead to behavioral challenges because young children are still developing self-regulation and attention skills. Many educators lack structured training in effective transition strategies.
My Role
I developed the instructional foundation for this project, including the module concept, instructional template, and learner analysis. My work focused on aligning the design with real classroom needs.
The Solution
I designed an interactive training module that uses scenario-based learning to help educators make decisions during classroom transitions and apply effective strategies.
Prototype
Scenario-based decision-making activity from the instructional module.
Evaluation
The module includes formative assessments through scenario-based questions and summative evaluation through application and reflection.
Reflection
This project strengthened my ability to design instruction that connects research to real-world classroom application.
